Channel Stock Points
A stockist or distributor holds your stock and keeps its own books. A dispatch to one is mirrored as a sale out of your godown and a purchase into theirs, so each side reads its own stock and its own balance. Off bills them as ordinary customers.
Switch: Settings > Field Sales > Channel Stock Points.
Where it appears
The channel tiers (Super Stockists, Stockists, Distributors) carry a warehouse of their own, and the office dispatches to it. See Stock & Warehouses.

- Shops and channel tiers - a tier is a customer of the tier above, with a warehouse when this is on.
- Dispatch - out of the right stock point for the order, rather than always out of the company godown.
Switching off. Warns at save when parties are set up as a stock point, holding stock in a godown of their own — the settings page says how many.
