Rep Returns

A rep takes damaged or expired goods back at the shop door and credits the shop on the spot, with a photo of what came back. Off leaves every return to the office.

Switch: Settings > Field Sales > Rep Returns. Permissions: Take goods back on the rep's seat, set from the Team page.

Why it is a separate switch

Unlike Rep Collections this defaults off, and deliberately. Taking money in is what a field team has always done; giving credit away at a doorstep is a new right, and turning it on for every existing business without anybody deciding to would hand it to reps who never had it. Both gates have to pass — the business works this way, and this rep is trusted to.

Where it appears

Field sales shell: the Return action on a shop's page during a round. It never appears on the office menu — a return keyed at a desk is the ordinary sales-return voucher and needs none of this.

Flow

    A[Rep at the shop door] --> B[Count the damaged or expired stock]
    B --> C[Photo of what came back]
    C --> D[(Sales return raised against the shop)]
    D --> E[Shop credited on the spot]
    E --> F[Stock comes back on the books]
A real sales-return voucher, not a note to follow up: the credit reaches the shop's account before the rep leaves the counter.

Screens

The photo is the control. A credit given away at a counter has no second signature on it, so the picture is what the office reviews afterwards. It rides with the voucher rather than in a separate album.
Switching off. Warns at save when returns have already been taken this month — those vouchers stand, the same way a cancelled feature never rewrites what it recorded. Only the doorstep screen goes; the office can still raise a return.
