Single Doctor

For a clinic with one consultant. The Doctors list, the doctor filter on every report and the doctor-wise revenue sheets are hidden, because in a one-doctor practice they all answer the same question with the same name. Everything else works exactly as it does in a hospital.

Switch: Settings > Hospital > Single Doctor.

Nothing is lost

This only decides what is shown. The doctor is still recorded on every visit, every admission and every prescription exactly as before, so the day a second consultant joins, switching this off brings the list, the filters and the doctor-wise sheets back with all the history already in them.

That is the whole reason it is a display switch rather than a different way of storing a visit: a clinic that grows should not have to re-key a year of records to find out what each doctor earned.

What it hides

HiddenBecause
The Doctors listA master screen for picking between one thing.
The doctor filter on reportsEvery row has the same answer in it.
Doctor-wise RevenueIt would be the department revenue with one row.

The OPD register, consultations, dues, the pharmacy and - where it is on - the whole inpatient half are untouched.

A one-way door it is not: the switch can be flipped back the day the practice grows, and the history is already there.

Setting it up

Switch it on in Settings > Hospital. Nothing else to do - there is no master to fill in and nothing to migrate. If the clinic already has more than one doctor on its books, leave it off; hiding the list would not remove them, only the ability to tell them apart on a report.
