Barcodes & Label Design
Three related tools. Barcode attaches codes to items and prints plain barcode labels. Designed Barcode prints labels from a layout you design - price tag, shelf label, jewellery HUID tag - with the fields you choose. Label Design is the designer itself. Scanning on the counter, purchase and stock screens reads any of them.
Where it is in the app
POS page: Master > Barcode, Master > Designed Barcode, Tools > Design > Label Design, and Settings > Barcode / Barcode Designer. Jewellery shell: Barcode Print under Management.

Screens
- Barcode - choose items and how many labels each; label size and columns from Settings > Barcode; prints on a label printer or A4 sheet.
- Designed Barcode - the same picker with a layout: which fields (name, MRP, rate, size, colour, batch, expiry, weight, purity, HUID, shop name, logo), font sizes, barcode type (EAN-13, Code 128, QR).
- Label Design - drag fields onto a label of your size, preview with a real item, save as a layout.
- Weight barcodes - the counter decodes scale-printed codes (prefix + item code + weight) as configured in Settings > Barcode.
- Reference code - a second code (supplier code, design number) searchable beside the barcode.
- Offer / price tag - the shelf tag, opened from a product (or one of its variants): MRP, rate, the % OFF badge, size and colour, and the running offer or price-rule line. Each of those can be left off. It prints on a label roll or tiles onto an A4, A5 or A6 sheet, and full sheet makes one poster-sized tag for the end of an aisle. Trades that shelve stock get it from day one; a workshop does not, and either can overrule that in settings.

Settings
Settings > Product - barcode on, auto-generate, reference code. Settings > Barcode - label size, columns, printer, weight-barcode format. Settings > Barcode Designer - saved layouts. The offer tag keeps its own defaults with the product settings: whether the shop prints tags at all, the usual tag size and paper, and which fields to leave off.
