Textile, Footwear & Fashion

For a textile showroom, readymade store, boutique or shoe shop. One design comes in many sizes and colours, each its own stock line under one product; yardage sells by the metre; seasonal offers and exchanges are routine.

Set up before the first range arrives

The owner does these once. The preset has turned on size and colour, the size × colour grid for adding stock, barcodes and auto-generated codes, and seeded units (Pcs, Meter, Pair, Set) and groups (Shirts, Sarees, Kids Wear; Mens / Ladies Footwear...).

  1. Fill in the business Tools > Settings > Business Info: name, address and GSTIN.
  2. Add brands and groups under Master > Item Setup (Item Brand, Product Group) so the grid and the reports sort the way your racks do.
  3. Add each style under Master > Products, then add its sizes and colours as one grid. Each size-and-colour piece carries its own stock under the one product.
  4. Set up yardage: fabric sold off the roll goes in by the Meter, with decimal quantities.
  5. Design your tags under Master > Designed Barcode (Premium) with size, colour and price on the tag.
  6. Add suppliers under Master > Suppliers and book your current stock.
  7. Create a login for each person (see Who signs in), then scan one test tag, bill it and cancel it.

How the work flows

From the range coming in to the season's leftover sizes. Each step says who does it and what prints.

Buy the range

Purchase Invoice line by line for each size and colour that came in.

Store / Purchase

Tag it

Print price tags from Master > Designed Barcode or offer stickers from Master > Offer Stickers, and put them on before the stock hits the rack.

Store / PurchasePrice tags

Sell

Scan the tag at Counter Sale or Tax Invoice; the size and colour are on the line. A running offer (season discount, buy 2 get 1) applies itself.

CounterBill

Exchange

Take the piece back on Counter Return against the original bill, then bill the replacement. A customer on account gets a credit note on Return/ Credit Note.

Reorder the fast sizes

The Size × Colour Stock report shows what is left in which size; reorder what is selling.

Clear the season

Mark down slow stock with a dated offer or Master > Bulk Changes > Price Update, and post the offer on WhatsApp from Tools > Design > Business Marketing.

Who signs in

Give every person their own login. There is no seat picker: you choose a role, then tick switches. A User is only offered the counter switches. Price changes and bill discounts, purchase, stock and reports are offered to a Manager alone.

  1. Open the users list Tools > Settings > Users, then add a user.
  2. Set the login: User Name and Password (on a cloud business, the person's email address).
  3. Pick the Role Type and link the person's Staff contact.
  4. Tick the switches and save. The change reaches them at their next sign-in.
